Can you please assist with the following
We are planning to deploy the Cisco ASA5500x platform with in the LAN/WAN and an IPS as a requirement, the firewall will connect to gig interfaces on the LAN / WAN.

Maximum Throughput:Application Control (AVC) and IPS == for the 5515x is 250Mbps and for the 5525x is 650 Mbps. (bottle neck as the interfaces are gigs)
As I am not interested in Application Control for this deployment does any one know what the IPS (Source fire) throughput is for the 5515x and 5525x if Application control is disabled ?
or
IF we are running the Source fire IPS we have to run AVC as well ?
