Ngfw 2130 as transparent fw using cli or fdm

We want to configure our newly purchased 2130 firewalls as inline firewall in transparent mode between internal core

and core switches in remote sites sharing same network subnet vlans. Kindly advise is transparent mode configurable directly on FW cli or fdm webui.

There is no new purchased FMC available.

For the transparent operation (I would prefer inline interfaces over transparent mode, but that doesn't change the management-requirements) you need to have the FMC. You can't configure that in FDM or via CLI.

The whole system was designed to be configured through one of the GUIs that are available (or an API). The CLI is mainly for Day-0 setup and troubleshooting. Cisco will likely never change this.
