Hi,

The link contains pretty much the steps required.

asa# hw-module module 1 recover configure

Image URL [tftp://0.0.0.0/]: tftp://x.x.x.x/IPS-SSM-K9-sys-------.img   <--- Make sure you're using a .img file

Port IP Address [0.0.0.0]: y.y.y.y

Specify 'gateway' address if tftp server x.x.x.x is in different subnet than y.y.y.y. It is advisable to use
tftpd32 from http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html
Leave vlan id as 0.

Now 'debug module'.

asa# hw-module module 1 recover boot

At this point you should see the status of recovery. Things will be good if you do not see the module going
into a boot loop. Give it around 10-15 mins and check 'show module' output.

Hello,

That's exactly what I am doing. But the status only hangs in recover. I left it 12 hours but it nevers came up.

Thank you
