old pix 520

I have 2 pix 520's that were in storage and had previous configurations on them. When I power them on and try to connect to them via console (hyperterminal 6.3) , neither one of them responds. I don not see any boot up info either. These units are the ones that have the floppy drive on them, but I didn't think they needed a floppy to boot up if there was already a configuration on them. Has anyone else experienced this before?

If so, Please send me your advice or how to fix this...

Q. What are your setting on your Hyperterminal, i.e is it the following:

Baud Rate - 9600bps

Data Bits - 8

Stop Bits - 1

Parity - NONE

Flow control - NONE

Yep , that is what I had been using. I finally got 1 of the 2 to work. Not sure what I did though. I had tested, sitched, tested , & switched my cables and eventually I got one of them to work. One is all I need for now but thanks for getting back to me.
