Hi everyone,
It should be an easy question for you i think.
I have actually Cisco PIX 501 , and i want for an experience to ping inside from outside ( i only succeed to ping outside from inside untill now ).
My ACL are only :
access-list 1 permit icmp any any
access-group 1 in interface outside.
With that i can ping outside from inside , but if i try to ping inside from outside : Destination Host Unreachable
I can ping with an outside computer ---> outside interface of the pix but cant do more.
I tried several ACL but cant find the one who help me...
By the way,i've tried aswell with the command " icmp permit ...." , but there is not difference.
Thanks a lot

1)Configuration of outside computer ; 192.168.20.15 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.128.20.1
inside computer 192.168.1.15 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1
All its ok
2) im gonna change that
3)done
So result : i've 2 different result .
With my usuall computer which is inside ( Windows 8 ........) its still not working, but i've activate "logging console" and i've that kind of error if i try to ping outside to inside and even when i do nothing.
110001 : No route to 76.73.18.50 from 192.168.1.15
710005: UDP request discarded from 192.168.1.15/17500 to inside:255.255.2550
710005: UDP request discarded from 192.168.1.15/17500 to inside:255.255.2550
710005: UDP request discarded from 192.168.1.15/17500 to inside:255.255.2550
710005: UDP request discarded from 192.168.1.15/17500 to inside:192.168.1.255/10
BUT i tried with a linux computer and it seems working fine.
Any idea why these result? just cause Windows 8 is terrible or any other idea?

Can you check the inside PC to see if it has a host firewall running.
If it has it could be blocking pings.
