Here is the deal. We dug up an old Cisco PIX 501 that has been previously activated and used sometime way back when. I looked through the config and noticed a lot of commands that vary from what I've learned on the CCNA track. I saved the old config in a text file and cleared everything to default. I then skipped the initial configuration.
All I want to do is allow users on the outside to use a software VPN client to VPN into our network.
We already have a proxy/firewall on the other side of the T1 connection (appropriate ports have been opened) so I am not worried about filtering or additional settings of this PIX 501. I just need to know what commands I need to issue from a cleared device to allow VPN to work.
