I would like to setup a pix with 3 T1 internet connections. Would I be able to do this through sub-interfaces or would this device not be capable of it.

Hi Matt
AFAIK the 501 will not do sub-interfaces or virtual interfaces. Logical vlan interfaces are supported on pix 506E and above.
