Hi everyone.
I have a network with 5 terminals with Windowx XP ( OS ) and a Windows 2000 Server.
We have a DTU , a Router Cisco 2500 , a Cisco PIX 501 Firewall , and a 3COM Switch.
We have the office in Buenos Aires , Argentina, and we setup a VPN to a server in an office in Las Vegas.
I do not know what is happening, but randomly a PC drops the connection to the internet.
but the others are still surfing.
I did a lot of test , and nothing happened.
The other day , and idea come to my mind.
I change the IP number from the PC that was not surfing , and put an IP number from another PC that was surfing at that moment, also I shut down this PC to avoid duplicate IP on the network.
When I did that, the PC begun tu surf.
Also what I did the last time I tried, was to power off the PIX and power on, and the PC that was not surfing , begun to surf, this time , without changing the IP number.
Any clue ???
Best Regards,
Santiago.
