PIX 515 failover?

I'm in the planning of implementing a failover firewall solutions and is ready to proposed to go for this 515 model?"m not sure which model to go with and I undesratsnd that I required a 515-UR combined with another 515-FO,will this mean i will have 2 firewall boxes connecting to each other thru serial ports 1 in active and another in standby mode i?Pls correct me if I'm wrong?

Correct. you need a UR and FO licensed pair. This is an active-passive cluster - there is no loadbalancing between the units. The serial cable is the older, but still supported method. To maintain the highly level of statefulness of failover, you can now dedicate an ethernet interface on each unit for stateful failover. The use of ethernet for stateful failover also allows you to have more physical distance between the units.
