The data sheet:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_data_sheet09186a0080091b15.html
says that it'll do 2000 tunnels max, that'd include both client and L2L tunnels.

Hi,
Yes i have check the data sheet, but i think it is only 2000 tunnel for VPN Client, not sure it is for LAN-to-LAN tunnels.

Hi,
It is 2000 tunnels. 2000 is the total number of tunnels, neither these tunnels are site-to-site, client-to-site or both.
I do not know why you posted your question, but I like to remind you on one other thing. The PIX will not allow traffic coming in on one tunnel qand leaving on on another tunnel connected on the same interface (in other words: hub and spoke configuration is not supported on PIX).
If you do need to use hub and spoke a better choice would be a VPN3000 Concentrator.
Kind regards,
Leo

Hi Leo,
Thanks. I got your point, but my question was "how many LAN-to-LAN tunnels can i configure on my PIX 515E".
If you see the data Sheet it says 2000 "Simutanious" IPSEC connections.

In the world of cisco, a tunnel is a tunnel is a tunnel - for neither licensing nor hardware capability reasons Cisco does not discriminate in favor of either end user or site to site tunnels - they are interchangeable
