We have a pix 520 and I need to use the password recovery procedure, while looking at the doc it mentions about a null modem cable with RJ45 connectors, this is not a rollover cable? is their another cable I can use? also i used the PIX With a Floppy Drive but I'm sure if it copied to the floppy.

you can try doing password recovery procedure which can also be done without using floppy drive.

Just connect the console of your wkstation to the PIX firewall use the standard break key after powering on the pix box.

You need to connect the PIX and your workstation where you have the np*.bin file downloaded.

*.bin file depends upon the PIX os code which you are currently running in ur box..

once you are thru with the connectivity between the wkstation and the pix firewall you can download the .bin and start following the procedures mentioned in the below link...
