PIX 525 v 5.2 Can it handle 2 4 port cards?

I have a PIX 525 version 5.2. It came with the basic 2 ports and a 4 port card. The software can handle 8 ports. Can I add another 4 port card and just use 2 ports? Or, do I have to buy 2 single port eithernet cards? Thank you.

I wouldn’t try it until ver 6.x.x is eased which is supposed to support 8 ports. The installation guide for 5.2 talks about installing a single 4-port card with two single port cards. Just my two cents

We are currently using 2 4port cards in our 525. But I can only use 6 of the ports. Because the in and out interfaces are the other 2.
