PIX and Microsoft CA

I have set-up a stand alone Root CA on a Microsoft Server. I have verified the mscep functionality by point my browser to the server(and script location) and getting the fignerprint.

I have a PIX 525 UR, enabled for 3DES-AES. The pix can ping the CA by name and by IP. I have successfully generated the keys and when I try to

ca authen vpnserver

CIERR: The number of parameters is wrong

I cannot get past this. If I copy paste the fingerprint, same error. If I type the fingerprint, same error. If I use no spaces in the fingerprint, same error.

Need some help here.

Please check if you missed the "ca authenticate" command. Also, if that's not the problem, remove all the CA commands, save your configuration, reload and enter the CA commands again. That worked for me and should work for you too.
