Is NBAR or a similar technology supported on the PIX? And can it be used to limit bandwidth used by the apps but not block the traffic completely?

No, the PIX firewall can either allow or block traffic, but is not capable of limiting bandwidth.

How about the NBAR capability? Is that there on the PIX?
