PIX ARP Table viewing

We are running a PIX with IOS version 4.2(3) and I am needing to look at the ARP table. Using the (?) help commands I get the syntax I need to use but I still can't see the ARP table. Is the table stored in the RAM memory? Do I just need to power it off to clear the table?

Thanks

You have to use the 'show arp' command to see the ARP table, it is stored in RAM. The default value of ARP timeout is 14,400 seconds (4 hours).

If you are not seeing any ARP entries, make sure that your ethernet interfaces are UP. Clear the ARP table using 'clear arp' command and see if it helps. Alternatively, reboot the PIX.
