PIX as ABR/ASBR

Hi...

I am trying to understand what makes a PIX act as an ABR or ASBR in terms of configuration differences. I was reading from this link

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/pix/pix_sw/v_63/config/bafwcfg.htm#wp1112559

and the only difference I saw is that when two ospf processes were assigned, the PIX became an ASBR. Is that the only change?

One other question is regarding LSA 3 updates. Using the same diagram (routers connected to each PIX interfaces, ie inside, dmz & outside) Is there anything wrong if two processes were created, one for public & the other for Private and dmz, in order to filter LSA 3 without using prefix-list, and redistribute public ospf to private, while the pix is ABR, not ASBR?

Thanks

This document provides a sample configuration for a VPN/IPsec with Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) on Cisco PIX Security Appliance Software Version 7.0 or Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA).
