PIX Automated configuration backup

Hello,

With my other Cisco devices I have scripted something which saves the running config using SNMP & TFTP once a day. I am looking for a way to achieve the same with the PIX. It doesn't have to be via SNMP/TFTP, but I want to make scheduled, automated backups of the configuration.

Does anybody have any tips for me? (I want to save it on a linux system).

regards,

Kevin

Use RANCID (opensource) a scripting tool that runs on linux or solaris that fetch, configure, diff cisco configs.
