I have an old pix calssie running 5.3(2) with activation key for vpn des 56-bit. Is it possible to do 3-des with this version of software if I get the proper activation key. Let me know. Thanks, Todd.

Yes I beleive so. You can purchase an upgrade for 3DES. Email licensing@cisco.com for details.
