PIX Connection Timeouts

PIX 525 6.2(1)

In the case where connections should NEVER be 'timed-out' such as

remote database connections, what timeout config values should be used?

Documentation suggests setting 'timeout conn 0:0:0' to 'never timeout a connection', but this does not work. Any experience with this?

Thanks.

It is possible that the xlate is what is timing out in your case.

You can try modifying the xlate timeout value.

hope this helps,

Out of interest I have a similar problem to resolve - did you get a resolution?

Thanks

Paul

Unfortunately not. Extending conn variable to several days works fine, but I have not found a config to keep connection indefinitely. Please let me know if you find a solution.
