PIX DHCP Server and subnet mask

Is it possible to have the DHCP server on the PIX 501 hand out a subnet different from the one on the inside interface? I am trying to have a class B subnet mask on the interface, with two different class C subnets behind the inside interface so the two subnets cannot talk to each other. One subnet will be static and be permitted through the company VPN, the other subnet would be DHCP and be for laptops or whatnot that are plugged in. Is it possible to do this?

Hi,

The address pool of a PIX Firewall DHCP server must be within the same subnet of the PIX Firewall interface that is enabled. In other words, the client must be physically connected to the subnet of a PIX Firewall interface.
