On Pix Version 5.3(1). Can you configure the PIX to failover back to the Active after the Standby has become active and the fault on the original active has been fixed.
The simple answer is no. The secondary PIX will stay active until it develops a fault such as losses a link, powers off, reboots or if you type the no fail over active command on the active pix or if you type fail over active on the standby pix.
