pix + load balancer

hi

i'm building fair small project, and it requires me to have a firewall (pix) and i need to have a load balancer, i know we using some cisco load balancer module at work, i dont know which one for sure, but i was wondering if there is some add-on module for pix that would add load balncer functionality, and if there isn't such thing, which load balncer would you guys recommend?

Hi

There is no module for PIX whoch provides load-balancing functionality. But you may run 2 PIX boxes in Active/active mode to give you "Load Balancing" functionality.

PIX OS 7.0 onwards, cisco PIX offers load balancing functionality along with redundancy and failover.
