I keep getting this reoccuring line in my log and would like shun it... or stop from appearing
%PIX-3-305006: regular translation creation failed for protocol 41 src inside:x.x.x.x dst outside:x.x.x.x
10-11-2011 10:05 PM
On the pix you can do:
no logging message 305006
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-18813
This would stop it.
Here's the message explanation:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/security/asa/asa82/system/message/logmsgs.html#wp4770951
Hope that helps.

Isn't this an occurance that shouldn't be happening or nothing I should be worried about.

Yup, you can avoid it, seems to be some sort of broadcast ipv6 traffic, until its affecting your network communication you can avoid it.
Thanks,

Hi,
Someone is trying to send to the box connection on the outside interface for SSH connection that is being denied by the firewall. Since yu might not have enabled any access for SSH on your outside interface.
