I apologize in advance if this is a basic PIX question, but as I am new to PIX, here goes:
In a recent conversation regarding Oracle, someone mentioned that the PIX contain a "fix-up" feature that from the description, sounded like an auto configure of sorts for the necessary ports. Can anyone elaborate on this further? Thank you.

Fixup protocol does different things for different protocols. In the case of Oracle SQL, I believe it allows you to use NAT but you have to use the default sqlnet port 1521.

The fixup protocol command performs the Adaptive Security Algorithm based on different port numbers other than the defaults.
