Pix Syslog Question

I am trying to troubleshoot an FTP problem. In diagnosing the syslog messages, I am looking at:

%PIX-4-106019: IP packet from a.b.c.d to e.f.g.h, protocol 6 received from interface "inside" deny by access-group .........

What is protocol 6 referring to? Where can I find out the definitions of the different protocols the syslog messages are referring to? It would be darn easier to troubleshoot if it were to just say, protocol FTP or TCP, or something. <grin> What IS protocol 6?

Protocol 6 is TCP. Protocol 17 is UDP.

This message is saying that a particular packet was dropped because of an access-list you have applied to the PIX interface.

All port numbers for various protocols are listed here: ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc1700.txt
