Hello friends..
I need to upgrade my PIX OS version from 6.3(3) to 8.0(2).
My question is: Is it possible to upgrade directly? Or Is it necessary to upgrade to 7.0, then 7.1, then 7.2 and finally 8.0 version?
Could you help me?

The release notes say:
"The minimum software version required before upgrading to PIX Version 8.0(2) is PIX Version 7.2. If you are running a PIX version earlier than Version 6.2, you must first upgrade to PIX Version 6.2 or PIX Version 6.3 before you can upgrade to PIX Version 7.2."
So it appears you can go 6.3(3) to 7.2 to 8.0

If you can have the downtime, i've found it easier/safer to load the new image, then just copy/paste the old config in. Most commands will be automatically converted to any new syntax - at least when doing it like this with 7.x.
