PIX VLAN Configuration

Hi All,

I have at work a Pix 515E utilizing s/w 6.3(4) - all 6 physical interfaces are in use.

I need to use the vlan support that the pix provides. What I want to know is whether I will lose any of the pix current config associated with the interface that I want to use for vlanning.

If the answer is yes, then is there a work around as to not lose the configuration ...

Since the interface will go from an access port to a trunk, there will be an outage. You will have to move the config from a physical interface to the new logical one.
