Problem Connecting Cisco VPN Client 3.6/Win2K to VPN 3015

Hi!

Whenever I try to establish a connection with the private network, authentication works fine; However I get the following error:

17 13:21:10.015 08/13/03 Sev=Warning/3 DIALER/0xE3300008

GI VPNStart callback failed "CM_IKE_RECEIVED_DELETE_NOTIFICATION" (15h).

Then the VPN Dialer window displays the message "Remote peer terminated connection" as shown in the message sequence below:

Initializing the connection...

Contacting the gateway at xxx.yyy.5.5...

Authenticating user...

Negotiating security policies...

Remote peer terminated connection.

I would appreciate any suggestions and references to documentation on how to solve this issue.

The problem could be due to a simple misconfiguration. You'll do well to revisit your configuration. In addition, 3.6 client doesn't support sha and you might have it setup for a previous version of the client. Also, you need to check if your ISP is blocking ESP and AH or if there is an intermediate device doing the same.
