Hello all
We have a on-going problem. The organization I work for is sending whole day a seminar in Flash video. The sending is provided by a company outside our own network. Now the transmission is viewable everywhere in the net (AFAIK) except for us ourselves.
The flash video is sent with RTMP over port 80 and it just stalls on the firewall. Now, could anyone have any idea why there is a problem - and better still - how to resolve it.
I have (for a short moment) allowed all the traffic in access rules, but it didn't come in even so, so I'd think it's not the access rules.
I also checked the inspection, but it seems that there is no rule for http in the list and setting no inspect http doesn't work, unless I first set inspect http on. I'd still think that ASA is somehow blocking it but can't figure out with what.
We have ASA 5500 and there's Trend Micro CSM.
As people are here running quite hot, I'd love to have quick answers
With best regards
Hannu

Hello,
I havent seen issues with RTMP, are you seeing any logs on the CSC?
Thanks.

Hey Hannu,
Do you see any syslogs for traffic being denied? have you tried bypassing the CSC module to ensure that is not causing the problem?

Prapanch
