Proxy FTP on 7305

Is it possible without WCCP, to configure a Content Engine 7305 to do real ftp proxy.

Like on port 21, and use user@site:port ?

WCCP is necessary when the redirection has to be transparent to the end users. If you can find a way to direct the traffic to the proxy in other ways (for example using the browser settings for http) you could do without WCCP.
