Dear Friends,

I am trying to install ACS 5.8 in VMware ESXi 6.0.

  1. I have successfully installed VMWare ESXi with 5.4 GB RAM (4 GB Physical + 1.5 GB virtual memory of HDD), 2 CPUs (x2 cores), and 600GB storage space.
  2. Next I installed vSphere client for accessing the ESXi.
  3. Then I created a VM Machine with 4 GB RAM, 1 CPU (x1 core), and 500GB storage space.
  4. While I am installing ios image of ACS 5.8 on the VM machine, it continue to display (waiting for hardware initialization) for quite sometime, then it is giving me the following message:

"Unsupported Hardware detected"

[Unsupported Hardware Detected]

This hardware (or a combination
thereof) is not supported by Red
Hat. For more information on
supported hardware, please refer
to http://www.redhat.com/hardware.
             [OK]

Please guide me what to do next. Your help is solicited.

Thanks,

Meena.
