I am trying to forward a range of ports ex. 1024-2048 to (1) internal address using statics? Is there an easy way?

Unfortunately, there is no easy of doing this. We would need to put indpendent static commands for each port. :-(
Hope this answers your question.

I assume you're forwarding other ports on that same address. But, if you're not using this address for anything else, you could just forward all ports and write an acl to only allow 1024-2048.

Thank you. Unfortunately is does answer my question. Is there a limit to the number of statics that can be entered into a PIX 501.

As such, there is no limit defined. Logically, a static statement would take around 120 bytes of memory. So you could use as many as they fit into the memory on your PIX.
