Redirect outbound request on ASA

Hello,

Is there a way to force a particular URL or IP address request to go to a particular internal IP address instead of tryong to have out go out the outside interface.   As an example, if a user requests www.MyInternalServer.com that has a public IP address and is inside my network with a private IP address I want to redirect the request to the private ip address.

Thanks in advance

Do you have an internal DNS server, like an AD server?

If is usually easier to create a zone file that exactly matches the one DNS entry with the IP address of the internal server.

If the server has a static IP, which I am assuming it does, and the ASA is running ASA version 8.3 or higher, then you can use NAT to redirect traffic to your server.
