Hi,
ASA 8.3(2) 5505
I've configured a number of remote access vpns on ASAs, but I don't recall having a default gateway setting assigned after logging in.
Is there a way to disable the assignment of a default gateway upon login?
The value assigned is meaningless. It's just the next available address in the local pool.

Larry,
When you configure Remote access clients, by default it does not have a default gateway because all of the traffic is sent to the ASA (Tunnel All policy) If you want you can configure Split tunnel to send via VPN only what you want and the rest of the internet traffic goes to the local Internet connection and not thru the ASA.

Hope this helps.

Hi Mike,
This results from the tunnel all feature. All of my other configs used split tunnel.
