rename an vlan interface on FWSM for a context

Hi,

I have an admin context with several firewall contexts. I am in the process of renaming a few vlan names. I can rename the vlan names in the individual context by giving "no nameif" and then "nameif".

But how do i rename them in the admin -vfw since the commands are "allocate-interface". if i give a no allocate-interface" it will remove the interface and the acls from the individual firewall context.

So how to i rename the vlan in the admin-vfw

You will have to recreate the vlans on the supervisor. Then reassign them to the firewall group ... Then reallocated them to your contexts under the new names.
