Retired Certification

Hi,

I have completed Cisco "IPS Express Security Account Manager Representative" certification before 3 years and now want to renew it but this certification has been retired. I raised a case with Cisco Certification and Communities Support Team but they denied support saying their department does not handle issues from Partner Program Tools.

I wanted to know if there is any alternate certification to "IPS Express Security Account Manager Representative"?

It depends what your goal is to having this certification. Generally we (partners) use these to be compliant with program requirements from Cisco.

The Account Manager role certification requirements for Security Specialization,  Advanced Security Architecture Specialization or Master Security Specialization all require an Account Manager to pass the "Security Architecture for Account Managers" exam as well as a couple of other more general exams.

There is no direct replacement for the certification you mentioned as Cisco has significantly changed the requirements and available certifications in this area in the years since it was retired.
