i have a question for sandboxing, how is the process from for the file to reach to sandbox, below is what I understand please correct if it is wrong
- unknown files arrives on FW
- FW send to sandbox appliance or cloud ( here the connection transaction to the client is on hold or the file is given to the user.
- sandbox replies with drop or clean reply
- the last the reply goes to the client either drop or the file is received
my main query is till the file get scanned the client has to wait to receive the reply from firewall or the sandboxing system.
