Save running-config txt file with no spaces using putty?

Can't seem to find the right command but I forgot what I must enter on the device first before capturing and saving a running-config file using putty, but not showing those weird characters when hitting the space bar.
Also, how to change it so when you do show run, you can scroll up and down to view the entire config? Right now, it only shows a certain amount as the bar on the left will not get smaller and smaller as you keep hitting the spacebar.

I think you should try "terminal length 0" for routers or "terminal pager 0" for ASA.
I am also using on Putty: Session \ Logging \ All session output \ file_name.
