SNMP Monitor for SSC-5 (CPU and Memory)

Dear Support,

I'm trying to monitor the health of SSC-5 module in Cisco ASA5505. Currently, no problem monitoring the Interface availability (thru Ping and Interface eth0). However, my Network Monitoring System (NMS) doesn't able to recognize/ capture the health for CPU and Memory. I tried to read the IPS manual version 6.2 but with limited info inside. Inside manual, it said it support below MIB.

The following private MIBs are supported on the sensor:

• CISCO-CIDS-MIB

• CISCO-PROCESS-MIB

• CISCO-ENHANCED-MEMPOOL-MIB

• CISCO-ENTITY-ALARM-MIB

The question, is how to use the above MIB? I read the MIB, seem doesn't have the CPU health check. Is health check determined by "show" command only. I found out, the nearest I can guess is "show health", but it doesn't capture the CPU monitoring.

ssc5-kwsp-K01# sh health

Overall Health Status                                   Green

Health Status for Failed Applications                   Green

Health Status for Signature Updates                     Green

Health Status for License Key Expiration                Green

Health Status for Running in Bypass Mode                Green

Health Status for Interfaces Being Down                 Green

Health Status for the Inspection Load                   Green

Health Status for the Time Since Last Event Retrieval   Not Enabled

Health Status for the Number of Missed Packets          Green

Health Status for the Memory Usage                      Green

Is it true, for SSC-5 we can't monitor the CPU resources? How I can capture the memory resources?

I know this is an old old thread, but did you ever come up with a solution?
