Hello everyone,
I am facing the issue with being unable to open asdm for one asa appliance (ASA5512).
I assume that the issue is caused by the ssl encryption currently set as des-sha1.
I would like to get it changed to ssl encryption aes256-sha1.
My question is whether the device requires the reboot for changes to apply.
Additionally, would i lose current ssh connection once the ssl encryption is changed.
Thank you.
Regards,
Daniel

No, you can amend the SSL settings without requiring a reboot of the ASA.
You would not lose the SSH connection if you change the SSL settings.
