Static Route through Spoke tunnel

I am traying to reach a Spoke loopback in a Hub and Spoke routed base configuration with a FortiGate being the spoke, but don't seem to find how to do a static route. I was able to do the static route on the FortiGate and able to ping a Loopback on the Hub, but not the other way around. When I go to the FMC and try to create the route, the Virtual Template Interface can't be selected. I can't even ping the tunnel IP on the FortiGate, but I see traffic passing thru the tunnel.

If I choose the Dynamic Virtual Tunnel Interface, it does not let me reference that on any static route. And I need to be able to create static routes. Also, I can't ping from the FTD to the tunnel IP of the FortiGate but I did manage to do the route from the Fortigate.
