In a scenario for an edge router in front of an ASA where on the edge router;
- static default routes have been configured for internet connectivity.
- preferred static routes have been configured using varying administrative distances.
- failover to the next best static route is done via an IP SLA.
- NAT for outbound traffic is configured using route-maps with 'match interface' statements to cater for the multiple links.
Is there anything else which can be included within the dynamic VPN ASA config on the router with the one link/same IP to speed things up should one of the outbound links on the multi-homed router fail?
About to try and lab an IKEv2 static-to-dynamic VPN - learning the ASA!
