Strange Problem accessing Webserver through Site 2 Site VPN

Hello,

i have a very interesting problem ;-)

I have a Site-2-Site VPN. On Location A i have a Webserver (Apach / Ubuntu 14.04 LTS). The Apache has no restirctions from where to access.

On Location A, i can access the Webserver. When i manually connect via Cisco Client to Location A from somewhere, i can access the Webserver, too.

When i try to access the Webserver from Location A via Site 2 Site VPN, i can not. I always get a time-out. I have tried from different PCs by using different browsers (Chrome, IE).

What is absolutely strange: i can ping the webserver from the client (in Location B) and i get an answer by using telnet to port 80 and no timeout!

I have no problem to access another Webserver via https.

When i try to access the webserver in Location A from another Location C via Site-2-Site , it works.

So.... now i am really at the end of my ideas.

Location A: ASA 5505, 9.24

Location B: ASA 5505, 9.24

There is no http filter active in the default inspections....

Thanks

Micha

Hello;

Good, this is a fun one. Can you do a NAT on site A for just one host and NAT it to the inside interface of the ASA to test?

Also, have you taken a capture? whats the reason for the Turning down the connection?

Let us know.

Mike.
