Submit User Credentials to ISE Login Portal

Hello everyone,

I desperately tried to find a solution by myself, but it did not work out, so maybe someone here could give me a hint. Let me describe the situation:

So, I created a user account in ISE. I have also built a custom login page, NOT with ISE however. It is a completely different third-party login page also containing external services. Now, I would like the credentials that the user fills the fields with be sent to and processed by ISE. I was thinking on applying APIs but I did not find any suitable functions for that. Does anyone have a suggestion on how it could be implemented?

The ISE ERS API has limited capabilities. If the idea is to just verify whether the credentials are right or wrong, you could use any GET API and process the response for the error code for auth error or 200 OK.
