Suggest ASA

Hi.. I am looking for a ASA which 6-7 gig ports and out of which I can use 4 ports as switch( configure under same vlan).

Could you please suggest for same.

The model chosen would really depend on your throughput requirements, as some models can take expansion cards.

i.e. Cisco ASA 5525x

Thanks.. but these firewall ports can be used as switchports.pls confirm.

ASA is a layer 3 device. Except 5505 no ASA has the switchport capability. ASA5505 has switching fabric
