Terminating shared MPLS link on Firewall (ASA 5585)

Is it advisable to terminate shared MPLS link on firewall? what are the technical challenges would occur? because this firewall already acting as perimeter firewall ( in this Anyconnect, S2S VPN, and it does IPS functionality as well.

I do that a lot of larger companies, especially if the traffic coming in the MPLS network is not of the same level as the internal network.
