The banner does not appear when the ASA firewall 5510 is accessed through a SSH

Hi ,

I configure the banner on my firewall but when i access my firewall through ssh it is not working.

Please suggest the solution.

for eg:

banner exec  *** ASA5550***
banner motd ***********************************************************************
banner motd Warning
banner motd Only Authorized person can access.
banner motd ***********************************************************************

Hi Karthik,

Thanks for the reply.

Now the problem is that when i access the firewall through telnet my motd banner works but when i access my firewall through ssh the motd banner is not coming before the username and password.

In ssh it comes after i put  the username and password .

Please suggest .

Hi Madhu,

I believe that the default behavior if you do ssh an ASA....
