Unable to aquire ip from PIX 515e

Hi

Just bought 2 PIX 515E(PIX-515E-UR-BUN) and are about to setup the box. This came out harder then expected :/

After connecting my computer to the box, I am unable to aquire ip address, and the manual said there is a built in dhcp server at 192.168.1.X range. Have tried connecting the box directly to my work computer, connected via a switch, and also via a crossover cable. Still no connection via the local port ethernet port 1 on the 515E.

Do I need to install any software on the box? What seems to be the trick?

The pix config out of the box is very limited. There is the dhcpd but it is not configured by default. Use the console cable to connect to the pix. From there you can setup the pix.
