Unable to create any new interface on FWSM.

Dear All,

Unable to create any new interface on cisco fwsm. when creating a new vlan on switch i can map to to the vlan range of fwsm. but when making a session to fwsm and issuing nameif to the newly created vlan interface. it show the error of interface creation limit exceeded.

Any susggestion as to how to increase the no of interfaces ??

Hi Shrinad,

Is your FWSM in multi-context mode ?

When FWSM is configured in multicontext mode it will only support

100 vlans see link:
