Hello Everyone,
Let me first explain the entire scenario to you guys and then I'll ask my question.
We have network set up in our company in which we are using local addressing scheme of 10.X.X.X/24. Our remote offices are on the same network as well. Now it is such that our remote offices have access to our internal network without any issues but these offices are without any internet connectivity. These offices need to access a public website frequently and for that we have to guide them to set up the proxy server and then access that website. At the main office we have a CISCO 3945E router available, NAT enabled and "squid" being used as a proxy server.
Now the question is that can we have an internal IP directed to that external IP/website such that our users only access the local IP and reach that website without setting up a proxy server for every single PC? If it is possible then how will we configure our router for this access? Will we need to involve proxy as well?
P.S. We can't provide internet connectivity to every office.
Thanks in advance.
